Life in a small retirement home is special; you know each resident by name, their stories, what makes them laugh and the little things that make them who they are. In our community connections run deep, you share morning chats, celebrate milestones together, and watch new friendships blossom between residents and staff alike. 

A team with heart

There is heart behind everything we do; everyone pitches in, supports one another and works together to make each day all it can be for each other and for the residents that we care for. 

Finding inspiration in everyday moments

My inspiration comes from the people – the residents, the families and my dedicated team who all make everyday meaningful. It’s in the morning smiles as I come through the front doors every morning, the stories that are shared over coffee but most especially in the quiet moments when I see genuine care.

There’s inspiration in knowing that we are creating a safe, welcoming home where people can live with dignity, joy and purpose. I find it in the trust the families place in my leadership, and in the pride I feel watching my team grow, support one another and go above and beyond everyday for the residents they serve. My main driver is the difference made in everyday moments – a resident laughing again, a new staff member discovering their own compassion and confidence. It’s those moments that remind me that leadership isn’t just managing, it’s about nurturing a community where people feel seen, valued and loved!

More than a residence

We are more than a facility, we are HOME where everyone looks out for one another, and where kindness and love fill the halls. 

We lead with kindness in everything we do. We persevere, regardless of what gets thrown at us, we dust ourselves off and rise to the occasion.  

A love for the open road

I LOVE taking road trips. For many years my husband and I owned different Harley Davidsons; on any given day we would be out from early morning, returning at sunset. Now that a motorcycle isn’t in the cards, we own a mustang convertible……we still go on roadtrips, we have just traded 2 wheels for 4. We have been to the Florida Keys, The Everglades, Lake Placid & Vermont, Mayan Riviera, Hawaii, Las Vegas, Texas, California and most recently South Dakota and Wyoming. What’s next on our list???? ….that’s still in discussion!
